Hawk Flight Training HD

March 17, 2013
Short composite of flight training with the Auckland University of Technology Kahu Hawk, supplied by Skycam UAV, Palmerston North, New Zealand. A GoPro was fitted in the sensor bay. This camera has a wide angle lens, which produces a fish-eye distortion. Our normal sensors are a Sony NEX5-N 14Mpixel stills camera, Mintron video camera, or FLIR thermal imaging camera, all of which produce much flatter images with less distortion.
