As quickly as the UAV sector, technology and new implementations are evolving the airshare site is also changing to keep abreast of the industry and continue to serve our audiences.
For the last few months our team have been working hard on developing an updated directory area on the site (which has also meant a full site upgrade) that will serve NZ commercial drone operators better as they aim to grow their businesses.
The new directory will be called the Marketplace and will go live in July - with much excitement all round!
We will be actively promoting the Marketplace launch across a range of media and online channels to help send traffic and potential customers to those operators who choose to list with us, and encourage any operators who haven't already done so to register on airshare.
Each operator will have their own page in the Marketplace, and for the first two months of the changeover the listings will be free (for existing listings on the directory only). From that point onwards, to keep your listing, each operator will need to choose between a Standard listing and a Premium listing.
Across both listing types, you will be able to log in and update or edit your own contact information, links to your website, and in the case of the Premium listing, add images and video to your portfolio.
Potential customers will be able to search by location (where you are based and where you operate), categories of expertise, number of flights logged on airshare, insurance and if you are Part 102 certified.
