Update: This temporary restricted area has now been lifted.

With fires still burning strongly on the Port Hills in Christchurch, there is a temporary restricted area in place (apart from the fire fighting helicopters and planes). Details from the NOTAM as below.

Temporary NZR895 - Port Hills, Canterbury

Temporary restricted area NZR895 has been established in the Port Hills, Canterbury approximately 6NM South East of Christchurch for firefighting operations. Surface to the LL CA.
